Slow-Poke Jambalaya

Recipe Ingredients

1   Bell pepper - chopped
1   Onion - chopped
2   Tomatoes - chopped (medium)
1 cup 110g / 3.9ozChopped celery
1   Garlic - crushed
2 tablespoons 30mlMinced parsley
2 teaspoons 10mlChopped thyme leaves
2 teaspoons 10mlOregano leaves - chopped
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlCayenne
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
4 oz 113gSmoked sausage - chopped
8 oz 227gChicken breast - chopped
2 cups 474mlBeef broth or bouillon
1/2 lb 227g / 8ozCooked shelled shrimp
1 cup 160g / 5.6ozCooked rice

Recipe Instructions

Shell shrimp, halve lengthwise.

In slow cooker, combine all ingred. except shrimp and rice. Cover and cook on low 9-10 hours. Turn slow cooker on high, add cooked shrimp and cooked rice. Cover; cook on high 20-30 minutes.
