Sweet And Sour Chicken - 3

Recipe Ingredients

4   Chick breast - halved, skinned boned
1/2 cup 31g / 1.1ozFlour with salt and pepper
1/3 cup 78mlOil
  Sauce
1   Pineapple tidbits
1 1/4 cups 296mlJuice - (water + pineapple juice
2/3 cup 157mlCider vinegar
3/4 cup 148g / 5.2ozSugar
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlGinger
1   Chicken bullion cube
2 tablespoons 30mlCornstarch
1 tablespoon 15mlSoy sauce
1   Mandarin oranges - (10 oz.)
1/2 cup 31g / 1.1ozMaraschino cherries-halved

Recipe Instructions

Shake chicken in bag with flour, salt and pepper; brown well both sides in hot oil. Put in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 F. for 20 Min.

FOR SAUCE: Mix all ingreds. except pineapple, oranges, and cherries. Boil for 2 min., stirring. Pour sauce over chicken. Add pineapple, oranges, cherries.

Baste and bake 20 minutes more. Accompany with hot cooked rice.
