1/3 cup | 78ml | Oil |

1 | Pineapple tidbits | |
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Juice - (water + pineapple juice |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Cider vinegar |
3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Sugar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ginger |
1 | Chicken bullion cube | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cornstarch |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Soy sauce |
1 | Mandarin oranges - (10 oz.) | |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Maraschino cherries-halved |
Shake chicken in bag with flour, salt and pepper; brown well both sides in hot oil. Put in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 F. for 20 Min.
FOR SAUCE: Mix all ingreds. except pineapple, oranges, and cherries. Boil for 2 min., stirring. Pour sauce over chicken. Add pineapple, oranges, cherries.
Baste and bake 20 minutes more. Accompany with hot cooked rice.
