Frozen Cappuccino Recipe - Cooking Index
3 cups | 711ml | Freshly-brewed strong coffee |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Half-and-half - or more as needed |
Ground cinnamon - for garnish | ||
Freshly-whipped cream - for garnish |
In a large glass measuring cup, combine the sugar and hot coffee. Stir until dissolved. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze. May be prepared in advance and stored in plastic bags in the freezer.
In a blender, combine frozen coffee cubes and half and half. Mix until thoroughly blended.
Serve garnished with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
This recipe yields 2 servings.
Mocha alternative: In addition to the sugar, add unsweetened cocoa powder, to taste, to the coffee. Stir until dissolved and then freeze.
