Dr. Pedron's Filipino-Style Chicken

Recipe Ingredients

4   Boneless skinless chicken breast fillets - (3 1/2 oz ea)
6   Garlic cloves - pressed
1/2 cup 118mlLemon juice (preferably fresh squeezed)
1 cup 237mlWater
2 tablespoons 30mlLow-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon 5mlCrushed peppercorn
6 teaspoons 30mlBay leaves (medium)
1 tablespoon 15mlBrown sugar - (optional)
12 tablespoons 180mlFresh sage leaves (small)

Recipe Instructions

Mix ingredients in bowl and add chicken. Marinate overnight or for at least four hours before cooking. Cook chicken on a hot grill. Serve with grilled fresh vegetables basted with olive oil and vinegar, rice, bread and fresh fruit.
