Coconut Macaroons Recipe - Cooking Index
1/3 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Unbleached flour |
2 1/2 cups | 232g / 8.2oz | Shredded coconut |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Sweetened condensed milk |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together flour, coconut and salt. Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Stir well to make a thick batter.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto well-greased cookie sheets, allowing an inch between cookies. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan at once; let cool on wire racks.
Yields about 2 dozen.
