Alaska Sablefish Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 cup | Steamed or poached sablefish - cut 1" chunks | |
| 1 | Tomato - diced | |
| 1 | Avocado - peeled, diced | |
| 1/2 cup | Diced cucumber | |
| 2 | Green onions - diagonally sliced | |
| Lettuce | ||
| Vinaigrette Dressing | ||
| 3 tablespoons | Oil | |
| 3 tablespoons | Wine vinegar | |
| 1/4 teaspoon | Salt | |
| 1/8 teaspoon | Freshly-ground black pepper | |
| 1/8 teaspoon | Crushed oregano leaves | |
| 3 x | Bottled hot pepper sauce |
Combine sablefish, tomato, avocado, cucumber and onions. Toss gently with Vinaigrette Dressing. Serve on lettuce-lined platter.
Vinaigrette Dressing: Combine all ingredients. (Makes about 1/3 cup)
This recipe yields 2 main-dish servings or 4 side-dish servings. Recipe may be halved or doubled.
