Squash Bake

Serves: 4 people

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups 474mlSquash - yellow summer squash
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozDry bread crumbs
2/3 cup 97g / 3.4ozMild cheddar cheese - grated
2 tablespoons 30mlSugar
2   Eggs - beaten
2 tablespoons 30mlMargarine
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlOnion salt

Recipe Instructions

Cook squash in just a little bit of water until tender. Drain and mash. Measure 2 cups and mix with remaining ingredients except cheese. Pour into buttered 1 quart casserole and top with grated cheese. Dot with butter. Bake for 30 minutes at 350F.
