Tex-Mex Dip - 1

Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlFresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt - or to taste
3 teaspoons 15mlAvocados (medium)
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlFreshly ground black pepper
1 cup 237mlSour cream
1/2 cup 118mlMayonnaise
1   Taco seasoning mix
21 oz 596gPrepared bean dip
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozGreen onions - chopped
3 cups 187g / 6.6ozTomatoes - seeded and chopped (medium)
1   Black olives - chopped
8 oz 227gSharp cheddar cheese - grated
  Tortilla chips

Recipe Instructions

Peel, pit and mash avocados in medium bowl. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper.

In separate bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning.

To assemble, spread bean dip on a large, shallow platter.

Top with avocado mixture followed by a layer of sour cream and taco mixture. Sprinkle with chopped onions, tomatoes, and olives..

Cover with shredded cheese.
