Jerk Beef

Recipe Ingredients

2 lbs 908g / 32ozBeef, diced in 1 inch cubes
1 tablespoon 15mlSoy sauce
2/3 cup 41g / 1.4ozCrushed tomatoes
5 oz 142gOnions - chopped
1 1/2 oz 42gGreen onions - chopped
1 oz 28gBanana peppers - chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlGarlic - minced
2 1/2 teaspoons 12mlBlack pepper
1 teaspoon 5mlTabasco sauce
2 teaspoons 10mlAllspice
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlThyme

Recipe Instructions

Trim fat from meat. Mix all other ingredients.

Marinate meat in mixture 24 hours in fridge. Drain most of marinade.

Saute meat with a little of marinade until brown and cooked.

[Recipe Editor, you can also thread the beef on bamboo or metal skewers and grill over medium hot coals on the grill.

Serve with fluffy white rice.
