Recipe Ingredients

5 cups 312g / 11ozYellow onions - finely chopped (large)
2   Green bell peppers - finely chopped
18   Garlic - minced
1/2 cup 118mlGround New Mexican chile
2 tablespoons 30mlCumin seed - roasted and ground
8 tablespoons 120mlDry mustard
4 cups 948mlCider vinegar
7 1/2 lbs 3405g / 120ozCatsup
6 tablespoons 90mlWorcestershire sauce
3   Limes - juiced
1 1/2 tablespoons 22mlBlack pepper
2 teaspoons 10mlWhite pepper
2 cups 320g / 11ozBrown sugar
1 1/2 cups 355mlMolasses

Recipe Instructions

Saute first 3 ingredients until soft. Add next 3 ingredients and cook over high heat for about 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for about two hours. Remove from heat and let cool. Puree sauce in a food processor until smooth.
