Lexington-Style Barbecue Dip Recipe - Cooking Index
3 cups | 711ml | Apple cider vinegar |
2/3 cup | 131g / 4.6oz | Brown or white sugar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Ketchup |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Texas Pete hot sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Black pepper |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Onion powder |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Kitchen bouquet browning sauce |
Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and stir until sugar dissolves. Let sit for several hours before serving.
