Mustard Based Central South Carolina Barbecue Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Peanut oil |
2 | Minced garlic cloves | |
1 | Minced onion | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Catsup |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Apple cider vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Honey |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dry mustard |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ginger |
1 | Salt |
Combine ingredients and set aside. Grill meat (do not add anything).
During the last 4-10 minutes baste with this sauce.
Boil the remaining sauce and spoon 2 T's onto each plate, adding the meat portion.
