Western North Carolina Style Barbecue Sauce - 6

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 cups	240g / 8.5oz	Brown sugar
1/2 cup	99g / 3.5oz	Butter
1 cup	237ml	Ketchup
8 oz	227g	Heinz 57 steak sauce
1 tablespoon	15ml	Celery seed
1 cup	62g / 2.2oz	Onion - chopped
2		Garlic - minced
1/2 cup	118ml	Vinegar
1 tablespoon	15ml	Dry mustard
		Red pepper flakes

Recipe Instructions

Caramelize butter and sugar until bubbly.

Add vinegar and whisk. Add rest until thickened.
