Butterscotch Pudding Mix

Recipe Ingredients

  Basic Mix
2 cups 474mlInstant nonfat dry milk
5 cups 800g / 28ozBrown sugar - firmly packed
3 cups 187g / 6.6ozCornstarch
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
  To Use
2 cups 474mlMilk
4 tablespoons 60mlButter
1/2 cup 55g / 1.9ozBasic mix

Recipe Instructions

Mix all the ingredients until they are well blended. Store mix in an airtight canister or tightly covered jar.

TO USE: Stir the mix in the canister before measuring out 1/2 c mix into a saucepan. Add 2 c milk and 4 tb butter and cook over low heat, stirring, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

Continue stirring for 1 minute, remove from heat, and pour into individual serving dishes. Pudding will thicken further as it cools
