Cheddar Fruit Drops Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar - granulated |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Brown sugar - firmly packed |
1 | Egg - lg | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 1/2 cups | 93g / 3.3oz | Unbleached flour |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Cheddar; sharp - shredded |
8 1/4 oz | 234g | Pineapple - crushed, drained |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Maraschino cherries - chopped |
Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy then stir in the egg and vanilla. Add the combined dry ingredients and blend well.
Stir in the cheese, pineapple, and cherries. Drop the dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375F for 15 minutes.
