3 oz | 85g | Sweet dessert wine |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Brandy |
6 oz | 170g | Matzo crackers - broken up |
8 oz | 227g | Margarine |
8 oz | 227g | Granulated sugar |
2 | Eggs | |
2 oz | 56g | Cocoa powder |
2 oz | 56g | Chopped walnuts |
Sprinkle wine and brandy over broken matzos and let stand 10-15 minutes.
Cream margarine and sugar, then beat in cocoa and eggs. Add softened matzos.
Spread nuts evenly over a sheet of waxed paper. Spread mixture evenly on top. Roll like a Swiss roll with nuts on outside. Chill overnight. Serve thinly sliced.
