Cookie Brittle Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Vanilla |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Granulated sugar replacement |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Flour - sifted |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Semisweet chocolate chips |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Walnuts - chopped fine |
Combine margarine, vanilla, salt and sugar replacement in mixing bowl or food processor; beat until smooth. Stir in flour, chocolate chips and walnuts. Press into ungreased 15 x 10-in. pan.
Bake at 375F (190 C) for 25 minutes. Remove from oven, score into 2 x 1-in. pieces and cool completely.
Break into candy pieces.
Yield: 60 pieces
