Fudge Brownies Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Butter |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Sifted flour |
4 oz | 113g | Unsweetened chocolate |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
4 | Eggs | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 | Salt | |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Chopped pecans |
2 cups | 396g / 13oz | Sugar |
1. Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9" square baking pan. Melt butter and chocolate in small saucepan over low heat. Stir to blend and set aside to cool.
2. Beat eggs until light yellow; add salt, sugar, flour, and baking powder. Beat well. Blend in cooled chocolate, vanilla and pecans. Blend thoroughly.
3. Pour into prepared pan and bake 35-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before cutting.
