Hazelnut Cherubs

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/3 cups 83g / 2.9ozSifted flour
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozButter or margarine - soft
1/2 cup 80g / 2.8ozBrown sugar - packed
1 cup 237mlRaspberry jam
  Topping
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozChopped Oregon hazelnuts
1   Egg
1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozSugar
1   Salt

Recipe Instructions

Mix flour, sugar, salt and margarine with a pastry blender until all combined.

Pack into the bottom of a greased shallow pan 10" x 12". Spread with jam.

Bake in a 350F oven for 8 minutes.

Spread with topping, then bake for 20 minutes. Cut while warm.
