Moist And Chewy Brownies Recipe - Cooking Index
4 oz | 113g | Unsweetened chocolate |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Flour |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
2 cups | 396g / 13oz | Sugar |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Nut meats - chopped |
4 | Eggs | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
Preheat the oven to 350F. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a large saucepan over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and gradually stir in the sugar. Stir until well blended.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating the mixture well after each addition. Blend in the remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth.
Spread the batter in a greased baking pan (13"x9"). Bake for 30 to 40 minutes (DO NOT OVER-BAKE!) Cool slightly and cut into bars.
May be frosted or dusted with powdered sugar before serving
