Spaghetti With Turkey Tomato Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups 125g / 4.4ozOnion - chopped
1   Garlic powder
1 lb 454g / 16ozGround turkey
3 tablespoons 45mlOil
3 1/2 cups 218g / 7.7ozCanned tomatoes
12 oz 340gTomato paste
12 oz 340gTomato sauce
2 cups 474mlWater
1   Bay leaf
1   Salt
1   Freshly-ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlOregano
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlBasil
15 oz 426gSpaghetti, uncooked

Recipe Instructions

In skillet, saute onion, garlic powder, and turkey in oil until brown. Add remaining ingredients (except spaghetti) and simmer for 2 hours or until thick. Remove bay leaf. Serve over cooked spaghetti.

Serving size is 1 cup spaghetti with 1/10 of the sauce.
