Samuel L. Jackson's Spinach Linguine & Ground Turkey Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter |
8 oz | 227g | Mushrooms - sliced |
1 oz | 28g | Red bell pepper - diced (medium) |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground turkey |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Seasoning salt |
26 oz | 738g | Spaghetti sauce - (1 jar) |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Spinach linguine |
Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the mushrooms, peppers, and onion. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes. Set aside in a bowl.
Brown the turkey in the skillet, sprinkling the turkey with the garlic powder and seasoning salt. Add the vegetables and spaghetti sauce. Cover and cook on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
Cook the linguine according to the package directions. Drain and mix with the sauce. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 minutes.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
