Seasoned flour | ||
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Rice |
1 | Green bell pepper - minced | |
1 | Onion - minced (small) | |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Chopped celery |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Diced tart apple |
Boiling water - as needed |
Roll pieces of meat in seasoned flour and put into a well-greased, large shallow casserole. Sprinkle on the rice, green pepper, onion, celery, and apple. Barely cover with boiling water. Cover the dish tightly with a double thickness of foil and bake at 300 degrees for about 1 hour, or until tender.
