Steamed Dumplings Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Flour |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
Milk - as needed |
Sift dry ingredients together and slowly stir in enough milk to make a batter stiff as that for baking-powder biscuits. Pat dough out 1/2 inch thick, and cut into rounds. Arrange rounds close together in buttered top of a small steamer. Cover and cook for 12 minutes.
