Steak Teriyaki

Recipe Ingredients

3 lbs 1362g / 48ozSirloin steak, cut 1" thick
  Marinade
1   Beer - (12 oz)
1/2 cup 118mlSoy sauce
2 tablespoons 30mlVegetable oil
2 teaspoons 10mlLemon juice
3 tablespoons 45mlDark brown sugar
1 teaspoon 5mlMcCormick Ground Ginger
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlMcCormick Ground Mustard
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlMcCormick Coarse Ground Black Pepper
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlMcCormick Garlic Powder

Recipe Instructions

Place marinade ingredients in bowl or 4-cup glass measure and beat with fork until well combined.

Place meat in shallow glass dish. Pour marinade over steak and pierce surface of meat all over with tines of fork. Cover and refrigerate 12 to 24 hours, turning once.

Preheat broiler or grill.

Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade. Broil or grill steak 10 minutes on each side or to desired doneness, basting frequently with marinade.

Slice steak thinly on the diagonal.

This recipe yields 8 servings.
