Green Chile Chicken Hash Recipe - Cooking Index
Hash is the perfect dish for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and this recipe will put a new spin on the meal of your choice. Serve with eggs for breakfast and as a different side dish with your favorite lunch or dinner.

1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Diced onion |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped green bell pepper |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chili powder |
4 cups | 584g / 20oz | Diced cooked potatoes |
1 | Ortega diced green chiles - (7 oz) | |
1 cup | 237ml | Ortega thick and chunky salsa |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Shredded cooked chicken |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Vegetable oil |
Melt butter in large skillet; add onion, bell pepper and chili powder. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add potatoes, chiles, salsa and chicken; cook for 2 minutes. Transfer mixture to medium bowl. Wipe out skillet; add oil. Return mixture to skillet; fry over medium heat for 10 minutes or until browned.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
