Carol And Sandi's Low-Fat Granola


Recipe Ingredients

3 cups 187g / 6.6ozOld-fashioned oats
1 cup 237mlWheat bran
1 cup 237mlWheat germ
1/2 cup 46g / 1.6ozAlmonds
  = (or pecans or walnuts)
1/2 cup 55g / 1.9ozPumpkin seeds
1/2 cup 55g / 1.9ozSunflower seeds
1/3 cup 78mlHoney
1/3 cup 53g / 1.9ozBrown sugar
1/3 cup 78mlOrange juice
2 tablespoons 30mlMelted butter
1 teaspoon 5mlGround cinnamon

Recipe Instructions

Mix oats, wheat bran, wheat germ, nuts, and seeds in large bowl.

In small bowl mix honey, brown sugar, orange juice, butter, and cinnamon.

Pour honey mixture onto oats mixture and stir well.

Bake in a 275 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every fifteen minutes.

This recipe yields 7 1/2 cups granola.
