Sausage Waffles

1/2 lb 227g / 8ozSausage
2   Eggs
1 cup 237mlMilk
1 tablespoon 15mlButter - melted
1 3/4 cups 109g / 3.8ozFlour
1 tablespoon 15mlBaking powder
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozButter

Recipe Instructions

Crumble sausage into a medium skillet; cook over medium heat until browned. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

In a medium bowl, mix together eggs, milk, and melted butter. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to the egg mixture and mix well. Cook in a hot, well-oiled waffle iron, sprinkling the sausage over each waffle. Repeat. Serve with butter.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
