Chili Turkey

This will probably also work without the prior browning but as we all know, that extra step usually adds flavor.

Recipe Ingredients

1 lb 454g / 16ozTurkey/chicken tenders or cutlets
2 tablespoons 30mlChili or taco seasoning
2   Garlic cloves - finely minced
1 cup 237mlSalsa (your choice of degree)
1/2 cup 118mlPeach, apricot or plum preserves

Recipe Instructions

Cut meat into cubes or strips. Dust with seasoning and quickly brown together with garlic on top of stove. Put meat into crockpot. Deglaze skillet with salsa and jam then pour over chicken. Cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours
