Mushroom Fettuccine Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Onion - chopped (large) | |
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Mixed mushrooms - chopped |
(portobello, cremini, shiitake) | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Butter |
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Heavy cream |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dry sherry |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh chives |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Fettuccine or favorite pasta - cooked |
In a saucepan, saute the onion and mushrooms in the butter. Add the cream, sherry and chives. Cook until the liquid reduces and thickens.
Pour the fettuccine on top, toss, and serve.
This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
