Spicy Meat Rolls Recipe - Cooking Index

1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Ground beef |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Ground pork |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Club soda |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Onion - finely chopped (medium) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Finely-chopped fresh Italian parsley |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Hungarian paprika |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil |
Salt - to taste |
Combine veal, beef, pork, club soda, onion, garlic, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and mix well. With moistened hands, take 2 heaping tablespoons of mixture and shape it into a roll. Continue making rolls until all the mixture is used. (You will have 10 to 15 rolls.)
Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat until it is very hot. Cook rolls in batches, 12 to 15 minutes, turning frequently until evenly browned and cooked through. Sprinkle with salt before serving.
