Artichokes Roman Style - {Carciofi Alla Romana}

Recipe Ingredients

4 oz 113gWhite wine
1 oz 28gFresh rosemary
4 oz 113gVirgin olive oil
2 oz 56gLemon juice
2   Garlic cloves - chopped
10 oz 284gWater
1 teaspoon 5mlBlack peppercorns
4 teaspoons 20mlArtichokes - stems cut to 1 1/2" (medium)

Recipe Instructions

Combine first 7 ingredients in an ovenproof casserole. Add artichokes. Bake covered in preheated 375 degree oven 30 to 40 minutes until tender.

Remove artichokes from liquid, put on tray to cool. Cut in quarters. Serve at room temperature.
