Artichokes Roman Style - {Carciofi Alla Romana} Recipe - Cooking Index
| 4 oz | 113g | White wine |
| 1 oz | 28g | Fresh rosemary |
| 4 oz | 113g | Virgin olive oil |
| 2 oz | 56g | Lemon juice |
| 2 | Garlic cloves - chopped | |
| 10 oz | 284g | Water |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Black peppercorns |
| 4 teaspoons | 20ml | Artichokes - stems cut to 1 1/2" (medium) |
Combine first 7 ingredients in an ovenproof casserole. Add artichokes. Bake covered in preheated 375 degree oven 30 to 40 minutes until tender.
Remove artichokes from liquid, put on tray to cool. Cut in quarters. Serve at room temperature.
