Spare Ribs

Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlOil
3 tablespoons 45mlClear honey
1   Fresh ginger root - (1/2") - finely chopped
2 tablespoons 30mlDark soy sauce
2 tablespoons 30mlHoisin sauce
1 teaspoon 5mlFive-spice powder
2   Garlic cloves - crushed
2 lbs 908g / 32ozSpare ribs

Recipe Instructions

Preheat oven 400 degrees.

Combine all the ingredients, except the spare ribs, in a jug and mix well. Pour over the ribs and leave to marinate for as long as possible, ideally overnight.

Place the ribs on a rack in a roasting pan. Cook in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for about 45 minutes, turning the ribs over half way through the cooking time. Allow to cool and serve cold.
