Spicy Broccoli Rabe Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil |
3 | Garlic cloves - smashed | |
1 | Red bell pepper - cut thin strips | |
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Broccoli rabe - hollow stems |
Trimmed, blanched, and drained | ||
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried hot red pepper flakes - (to 3/4) |
1 cup | 237ml | Chicken broth |
Heat the olive oil in a saute pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add red pepper and saute until softened. Add broccoli rabe and hot pepper flakes, and coat with oil. Add broth, cover pan and cook until rabe is tender, about 4 more minutes.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
