Cabbage Chowder

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups 220g / 7.8ozDiagonally sliced carrots
2 tablespoons 30mlMargarine
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlCaraway seeds
2   Cream of celery soup
1   Milk
1   Water
3 cups 711mlShredded cabbage
1 lb 454g / 16ozSmoked sausage - cut 1/2" slices

Recipe Instructions

In a large kettle, combine the carrots, margarine and caraway seeds; cook over low heat until the carrots are just crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.

Add soup, milk, water, cabbage and sausage. Bring to boil; reduce heat and cook until cabbage is tender, about 15 minutes.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
