1 | Refrigerated large buttermilk biscuits | |
1 | Spam luncheon meat - (12 oz) - chopped | |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped onion |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter or margarine |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Flour |
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
2 cups | 474ml | Milk |
Prepare biscuits according to package directions.
In a large skillet over medium-heat, saute Spam and onion in butter until Spam is lightly browned. Stir in flour and pepper. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Stir in milk. Cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture just comes to a boil. Reduce heat to medium. Cook, stirring occasionally, until gravy is thickened. Serve over hot biscuits.
