Beer Braised Beef In Crock Pot

Recipe Ingredients

3 lbs 1362g / 48ozLean beef stew meat cut into
  
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlPepper
2 teaspoons 10mlOnions thinly sliced (medium)
1   Mushrooms - (or pieces) un-drained
1   Dark beer
1 tablespoon 15mlVinegar
2   Beef bouillon cubes
2 teaspoons 10mlSugar
2   Garlic - minced
1 teaspoon 5mlThyme
2   Bay leaves

Recipe Instructions

Preparation: Put the beef in the crock pot.

Combine all the other ingredients and pour over the beef. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.

Before serving thicken juices if desired.

Joyce says she uses some flour or corn starch to do this.
