2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Cheap beef - cubed |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - diced (medium) |
3 | Fresh jalapenos - chopped | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chile powder |
1 cup | 237ml | Beef stock |
Flour tortillas | ||
1 | Tomatoes with green chiles - diced | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cornstarch |
Brown beef, onion, jalapenos in 2 tbs vegetable oil. Add chile powder and beef stock. Add water to just cover. Simmer covered for about 2 hours.
Uncover and mix 1 tbs cornstarch w 1 tbs cold water and stir in. Cook until thickened.
Serve in flour tortillas w fresh hot sauce.
