Soy Syrup Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Thin soy sauce |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Orange juice - freshly squeezed |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Brown sugar |
In a saucepan combine soy sauce, orange juice, and brown sugar.
Reduce until an almost syrupy consistency is achieved.
Let cool. As it cools, the syrup will thicken.
Garnish with spring onions (scallions) and sesame seeds.
