Alu Piaz Ki Sabji - Curried Potatoes and Onions

Recipe Ingredients

5 cups  Potatoes (medium)
1   Good sized onion
3 x  Red peppers
1/2 teaspoon  Mustard seed
1/2 teaspoon  Ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon  Ground red pepper
1/2 teaspoon  Garam masala
  Salt - to taste
1/4 cup  Vegetable oil

Recipe Instructions

1. Boil potatoes. Peel and cut into 1 inch chunks. Slice e onion lengthwise.

2. Heat oil in frying pan and add whole red peppers and mustard seeds. When seeds start to burst, add onions. Fry until onions are light brown.

3. Add potatoes and spices, mix well, cover and fry 10-15 minutes.
