Strawberry-Banana Pie

Recipe Ingredients

1 teaspoon 5mlBanana - sliced (medium)
1   Prepared 9-inch graham cracker crumb - cooled crust
1   Strawberry-banana Jell-O gelatin
2/3 cup 157mlBoiling water
1/2 cup 118mlCold water
  Ice cubes
3 1/2 cups 829mlCool-whip topping - thawed
1 cup 237mlSliced strawberries

Recipe Instructions

Arrange banana slices in bottom of crust. Completely dissolve gelatin in boiling water.

Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/4 cups. Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened.

Remove any unmelted ice. Using wire whisk, blend in whipped topping; then whip until smooth.

Fold in strawberries. Chill until mixture mounds. Spoon over banana in pie crust. Chill about 2 hours.

Garnish with additional strawberries and banana slices, if desired.
