Chicken and Black Pepper Dumplings (7.5 PTS)

Serves: 4 people

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 cups 355mlMilk
3/4 cup 177mlFrozen green peas
3/4 cup 82g / 2.9ozFrozen carrots - sliced or diced
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozCooked chicken (about 5 ounces) - cut up
1   Condensed creamy chicken soup
1 cup 237mlOriginal Bisquick
1/3 cup 78mlMilk
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlPepper
  Parsley - chopped, if desired

Recipe Instructions

Heat 1 1/2 cups milk, the peas, carrots, chicken and soup to boiling in

3-quart saucepan.

Mix Bisquick, 1/3 cup milk and the pepper until soft dough forms. Drop

dough by 8 spoonfuls onto chicken mixture.

Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes

longer. Sprinkle with parsley.

1 Serving: 320 calories (115 calories from fat); 13 g fat (4 g saturated);

40 mg cholesterol; 1080 mg sodium; 35 g carbohydrate (2 g dietary fiber); 18

g protein.
