Combine chocolate chips and chocolate syrup in a small saucepan; cook over
low heat until chips melt, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in
apricots, cereal, and crushed cookies. Shape mixture into 24 (3/4-inch)
balls, using a level tablespoon for each ball; place on wax paper. Roll
balls in powdered sugar, if desired. Let cool completely. Store in an
airtight container. Yield: 24 balls (serving size: 1 ball).
