5 | Pasilla peppers - toasted, seeded and soaked in hot water | |

Blend the garlic cloves and peppers with some of the soaking water to form a thick sauce.
Sautee the steaks in hot oil, set aside in a plate.
Sautee the sauce in the oil used to fry the steaks. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Add the steaks and potatoes. Let simmer for 5 more minutes. Serve with corn tortillas and rice (arroz rojo).
