Orange Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 cup | 177ml | Orange juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Nutmeg - ground |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | All-purpose flour |
In a measuring cup, combine orange juice, lemon juice, salt and nutmeg; set aside.
In a 1 quart saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened.
This sauce is very good on baked fish or chicken.
