Ground Beef With Zucchini And Tomato

Recipe Ingredients

1/4 lb  Ground beef
1/2 lb  Onion - sliced or minced (medium)
2 tablespoons  Soy sauce
  Salt
2   Zucchini - peeled and sliced (small)
2   Tomatoes - cut into wedges
1/2 cup  Water
1 teaspoon  Sugar
3 tablespoons  Oil
1 1/2 tablespoons  Corn starch - dissolved in
1/3 cup  Water

Recipe Instructions

1. Mix ground beef, onion, soy sauce and salt together. Peel and slice zucchini. Cut tomatoes.

2. Heat oil in wok to smoking point. Stir fry ground beef mixture in it until browned, about 2-3 minutes cooking time. Add zucchini and 1/2 cup of water, stir ingredients.

3. Cover wok with lid, cook ingredients 5 minutes, lifting wok cover 2 or 3 times to stir mixture. Add tomatoes and sugar, cover, cook 2 or 3 minutes more.

4. Uncover, stir up corn starch solution thoroughly, pour into wok, stir to form gravy.

NOTE: Chicken, pork, or shrimp could be substituted for ground beef
