Indonesian Brisket Of Beef

Recipe Ingredients

3 lbs 1362g / 48ozBeef brisket
3   Garlic - diced
1/2 lb 227g / 8ozBacon
3   Onions - sliced
4 cups 640g / 22ozCooked pinto beans
1 cup 237mlKetchup
3   Carrots - sliced
2   Hot peppers - diced
3   Tomatoes - cubed
2 cups 220g / 7.8ozCelery - sliced
2 cups 125g / 4.4ozCorn
1 teaspoon 5mlVegetable seasoning

Recipe Instructions

Boil brisket for 3 hours. After 2 1/2 hours, combine garlic, bacon, onions, and beans; bake at 350F for 1/2 hour.

Add boiled brisket to baking ingredients; also add rest of ingredients; continue baking at 350F for another 1/2 hour.

Remove from oven; allow to cool; refrigerate.

Serve the next day with rice.
