Granny's Country Chili Recipe - Cooking Index
8 oz | 227g | Dried black-eyed peas |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Sausage |
3 | Tomatoes | |
2 cups | 474ml | Water |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Black pepper |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Garlic salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chili powder |
Cover the black-eyed peas in water and soak overnight. Drain peas. Saute sausage meat until done. Add tomatoes, water, spices. Simmer one hour.
