Turkey Steaks With Sausalito Salsa

Recipe Ingredients

3   Thick turkey breast - about 1 1/2 lb
3/4 cup 46g / 1.6ozDiced - seeded tomato
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozPeeled - diced orange
1   Diced green chiles
1/2 cup 31g / 1.1ozThinly sliced green onions
3 tablespoons 45mlChopped fresh cilantro
2   Pared - minced, up to 3

Recipe Instructions

1/4 teaspoon salt 1 to 2 - tbsp butter or -- margarine

Cilantro sprigs Cut each turkey slice into 2 pieces, cover and set aside. Combine tomato, orange, chiles, onions, cilantro, gingerroot and salt in medium bowl, set aside. Melt butter in large skillet over medium- high heat. Saute turkey steaks, half at a time, if necessary, until lightly browned on both sides, about 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer to serving platter, spoon salsa on top. Garnish with cilantro sprigs. Makes 6 servings.
