| 2 cups | Bread flour | |
| 1 teaspoon | Salt | |
| 1 teaspoon | Sugar | |
| 1 teaspoon | Butter or margarine - (room temperature) | |
| 1 cup | Warm water - (plus 1 tbl) |
Ingredients should be at room temperature. Liquids (and 'warmed' ingredients) should be at 120-130F.
